Q.  How Safe Is Purchasing Anything From You? 
A.  Our eBook "How To Save Your Family From A Disaster" carries a nominal cost. Before you receive any file from us it is computer scanned and checked for viruses and other bad things by us, and by the server it is stored on. That's double safe!

Products that have no cost such as our free checklist and ID cards do not require any financial information. If you order such a product, you will be sent an email response telling you to click on a link in that response. Once clicked, you should see the product appear almost immediately on your screen.

Any of our products that have a cost associated with them are included in our Shopping Cart. You can selections or deselect items as you proceed through the Shopping Cart process. Nothing is done outside your site during this procedure. At any time you can create a selection or deselection by clicking on a button, and you can check to see a list of all items selected up to that point. If you have deselected something, it will not show in the Shopping Cart list. Or you can simply use the "X" box to leave the order process and go back to the site itself.

When you are through with the selections process, you will click on a button indicating you are ready to buy now. It will take you to the list of items you have selected. You then have a second pass at deciding to buy, add to or remove from the cart as you wish. 

Once you have decided to proceed, you indicate that choice and click to get a final figure which would add in any handling and shipping costs, if any, and, if taxable, the associated taxes. You are presented with the total which gives you another chance to opt out or proceed to buy. Up to this point, the shopping cart entries have gone nowhere, it is still on your site.

If you choose to buy, PayPal takes over the security of the transaction. PayPal goes to a high security mode using 128 character encryption. This is the most secure encryption and is used by all the best accredited payment systems.

We use PayPal as our processing agent. When you finally okay the sale,  PayPal sends back a PayPal form to your screen requesting the purchasing option such as your credit card or banking information if you want to pay by check, depending on your choice. It also will require shipping information for delivery. You must complete the form and then hit Send to submit it to PayPal. You are notified of approval status and, assuming approval, the order is then sent to Our Facts Of Life's order system.

PayPal then sends Our Facts Of Life a shipping order with all the shipping information, but  your financial data is not provided to us.
