Fire, Water And Security Testing

Sentry® products undergo rigorous testing to insure that they can stand up to fire, water and security challenges. Fire, Water and Security testing is an ongoing process for your safety.

Our products are tested by Underwriters Laboratories to meet independent standards for fire endurance and security, and by ETL Semko to ensure that they are in compliance with the manufacturer's specifications for fire endurance and water resistance. Please review the following information to better understand how safe our safes are.

Fire Testing - UL

Underwriters Laboratories Fire Testing

In independent Underwriters Laboratory tests, Sentry® Fire-Safe® products are subjected to fire for 1/2, 1 or 2 hours. For a product to earn a UL classification, the documents stored inside must remain completely undamaged.
